Medical and nursing failures constitute the major field of risks in clinics. Nowadays it is a fact that in many cases conflicts are the «root causes» for the emergence of such failures. To eliminate or at least minimize this risk conflicts must also be seen from the risk angle.

Under conflict-risk assessment the probability of occurence of medical and nursing failures as direct or indirect results from conflicts as well as the impact are being evaluated. Conflicts that had been detected on conflict scanning are now differentiated into certain risk categories. For one thing this helps to evaluate the urgency of need for action. For another thing priorities for the conflict-management and organization can be set superiorly.
